Mist is a beautiful she-cat, light silver in color. Her fur is short and soft, silvery-grey and shimmers in the sunlight. Her black swirls are hard to track, always intertwined with spots and stripes. They are pitch-black against the silver of her fur, like shadows on a midnight pool.Her long tail has black stripes running down the base of silver, ending at the tip, which is pitch-black.

Mist is small and lithe, a good build for running. She is a master at slipping into places seemingly unfit for a cat, such as in a crack in a rock or under a thorny bramble bush. She is very skinny

Mist has four swirls running down her forehead, illuminating her icey eyes. They are a light blue, flecked with shades of darker blue, gray, and white. Nearer the edges of her eyes the color almost tapers off altogether, but it is actually a very light blue shade. Mist's claws are short and slightly blunt, not much use in a fight. Her teeth, however, are thorn-sharp and sparkling.

Mist is a strange she-cat, personality-wise. She seems a little too shy, too distant. In this people misunderstand her, interpreting her shyness for the apparent lack of likeness to friendly contact. Mist is actually a very sweet she-cat once you get to know her, a little shy, a little stubborn.

Once you get past her first appearance, she is a nice cat to be around. She loves to argue, mostly when she knows she's wrong and wants to know if the other person would change thier view. Mist is prone to resort to very mean sarcasm, and has a great view of irony. Sometimes she uses it to acheive wah she belives "fun", but a very crude and mean version of the word. She mostly does that only to enemies, but messing around with friends also.

Mist is fiercely loyal to her friends, somewhat over-protective at times. As said above, she is very mean to her enemies. Friends are radically different to her; special. She treats then very well, though sometimes allows herself to be stepped all over and sometimes treating them unlike how they should be. She seems to be too trustworthy, trusting anyone who feels ready to get to know her. She hold hardly any secrets. Mist is very nearly always happy and smiling, though sometimes has very radical mood swings.

On a cold winters night in the land of The Sierras, two kits were born. White, the mother, had a lot of problems with the birthing, not being very strong to begin with. The two kits were finally born, a tom and a she-cat. Both kits were sickly, but Mist was unusually small. The mother, thin and frail, could not take the weight of birthing two kits, and died soon after.

They did not give Mist much hope, but Flame was expected to live. She was sick with fever, barely born, and it was the middle of winter. Things did not look good for the young kit. Another queen suckled her, took her into her litter. Her name was Silver.

The most interesting thing that probably ever happened to Mist in her short life was her adventure out in the forest. She wanted to catch prey for her own, just to see how it felt. After at least five attempted jumps and misses, she decided to just sit there and wait for the prey to come. Soon a smallish mouse came by, and she leaped on it happily. Sadly Mist did not know how muddy the forest floor was, slipped, missed, and came home extremely muddy and wet.

Soon after that little excursion, her foster mother came down with a bad cold. It was more than a cold, actually, and even after the Healer's efforts, Silver didn't make it. That was probably the saddest moment of Mist's life, and that is what leads her to this moment today, a small apprentice hoping to be a Healer.

"What buisness do you have here? Why do you not have the scent of a clan? Were you stalking me? Why are you on my territory!? Alone? Do you wish to speak to my leader?"

Mist stared at the apprentice for a long moment, ice-blue eyes losing thier slight anger. She slightly resisted the urge to laugh, the young cat ovbviously was not the sharpest thorn on the bush. The loner wondered if she should answer, nut decided to wait and see what other interesting things the apprentice would spew out.

The silver and black she-cat watched the apprentice silently, as the young cat's eyes grew wider and wider.

"I am Mirrorpaw of GustClan."
"You are a loner."

"Hello, Mirrorpaw. Yes, I am a loner. My name is Mist." She replied, biting back the other reply she had. No, really? I'm a loner? I never would have guessed! The silver cat was prone to sarcasm, but this cat was young. "I was not stalking you, I was hunting. But you kind of scared my mouse away." She leaned towards the rock next to her, the dappled shadows blending almost perfectly eith her pelt. Silver on gray, both dappled with dark patched, stripes, and swirls. "If you really must report me to your leader, you can. But it won't do any good. I can be gone in a day."
