It is almost amazing how much Falcon looks like her brother, Hedgehog. A small change in their build; Falcon slight and slim, Hedgehog of more muscular build. This resulted in Falcon learning how to use her agility in battle, while Hedgehog had no difficulty fending off enemies simply by using his strength. Still, they had the same brown tabby pelt stretched gauntly over their bony frame. Yet Falcon's fur holds more colors than her brother's; every shade of autumn radiates from her pelt. Silver slashes adorn her pelt, looking like massive scars from a distance. This was a trait that would be passed on to Hedgehog's son Pine. The same silver marks flashed in her eyes decorating her green eyes. Her face on the whole was chiseled neatly, but none of her features were delicate. All in all, Falcon was attactive enough to be handsome and maybe pretty but not considered beautiful by most.

Falcon has a split personality. She isn't what I would call bi-polar, but they are very different. I will try to explain them the best I can.
Perched:
The absolute ideal cat. Bubbly and enchanting. Kind and caring, yet can be slightly edgy when offended. This side of her attracts many males, but she refuses them when they recoil at the monster of her flight. In other words ths side of her is pretty boring.
In flight:
I'm not exactly sure what triggers this, but it might have to doing something with her running. When she runs her feet seem to leave the ground. This side of her ignores anything except what she is concentrated on. Her teeth are always bared, and would growl at even her supervisor if they get in her way. She is filled with strength that seems to be granted from the Tide Stars. She can usually drive away this side of her unless in battle, but sometimes it leaks into daily clan life.

The two siblings, Hedgehog and Falcon were born in a half-band of rouges. It was founded in this way: Macho, seducing she-cats and then forcing himself on them. This would more often than not result in kits. Macho governed over cats in this way, making them worship the blood-thirsty goddess Qeum.

The sibling's mother's name was Feather, and fall for Macho she did. She was a loyal Clanmate, and carrying kits. So of course Macho's breeding with her did not work, yet he told his band that they were his. And so five kits were born, in order of birth, Dust, Twig, and Bird. Anyone with simple math skills could tell two were missing. They were still-born, resulting from fierce treatment from Macho.

Feather told her kits all about TideStars, and all about life in the clan. The kits were enchanted, and decided to worship TideStars and hold customs of the clan, even if they could not live there.
Their hopes of release were granted. They were forced out of the band for not worshipping Qeum. Macho gave Feather a slow and painful death.


And so now Bird renamed Falcon, Dust, renamed Down, and Twig, renamed Hedgehog, slid easily into clan life, becoming an apprentice, then a warrior. No one asked who she really was, and about her dark past. They just welcomed her with open arms and embraced her strengths, and didn't care much about her weaknesses.

Chocolate paws padded into the clearing. Falconflight was down-right exhausted from hunting all morning with Reedfire. Her heavy paws, however, became light again when she realized the deputy would be named by Colorstar.

Naming the deputy had been a long put off task. Overtime, the cats of the clan had stopped asking and dropping hints about the ceremony, for they knew that in return, they would get a snarl from Colorstar.

Falconflight was reminded once again Colorstar was not as young as she used to be when her voice cracked in her annoucement to the clan. Perhaps this deputy might actually be needed.

"We must name a deputy!"

Those words shattered Falconflight's thoughts like a rock hacking through ice. She was immediatly swept into dreamland. Her mentor saying, "You could possibly become deputy someday." A tom who had broken your heart meowing,"A deputy? Yeah right." Falconflight felt as if her whole life had played before her beautiful green eyes.

Could anything reach Falconflight as she is flying right now?

Yes. Acceptance.
