Encounters

When hunting, patroling, fishing, or searching for herbs, instead of 'powerplaying' what you catch/encounter/find, we've come up with an efficient system. You may make a post, saying something like, "He bent into the hunting crouch and kept his eyes on the bush, waiting to see what was in there." Then, TideStars, an admin run account, comes along and posts something like, "A mouse scurried out of the bush and scampered away from the towering cat." This continues until the hunt is over, the patrol has ended, or the needed herbs have been found, basically. It is a bit inconvinient, but it makes roleplaying much more interesting. The water is frigid and you have to be wary of predators. Moderators: Sky, ⋆Nova⋆ 0 0 xx. RiptideStrip Separating the Lost Cove and the main part of Pebble Beach is the Riptide Strip. It is very dangerous and can sweep a full grown cat off its feet. In fact, instead of burial, the deceased are sent off to the sea where they may roam and watch over the world. Moderators: Sky, ⋆Nova⋆ 0 0 xx. LostCove On the Southeast part of the island, south of Pebble Beach, there is a cove where random objects wash up on shore. Here the water is calm, and somewhat warm. Prey is hardly ever found here although sometimes "gifts" from TideStars will appear.
