Pelt & Eye Colors:
Although they are twins, Clay and Reed's eyes are slightly different shades of gold. Clay's eyes are lighter, like honey while Reed's eyes are a dark gold, similar to topaz.
Their pelt color is a snowy white color with a pale tan overcoat. It looks like paint was splashed upon their pelt, but if you look closely; you can see faint tabby stripes. This coloring stops where their legs meet their body. From there on it is a pure white with the occasional patch of pale orange/tan. Longer white hairs stick out from their pelts, giving it a fuzzy look. Where the white fur meets their paws, it seems to turn into a pale cream color instead of the blinding snowy white.
Personalities:
Clay is the happy go-lucky personality. Everything has a silver lining, and her actions reflect this. She is outgoing and can talk to anybody without a problem. Counseling is something she is naturally talented at and easily senses changes in body language and moods. In some ways, she is like a healer, able to work with others and ease their pain. Surprisingly, she has never found someone she has fallen in love with. Although she sidesteps questions regarding love, it is something that she secretly desires. Because her parents died when she was young, the only family she had was her brother, Reed. Clay is a loyal cat, but if something else is a higher priority, she will do what she feels is right. Her choices are guided more by her feelings and less by her mind.
Reed is a shy, introverted cat. His world is not necessarily optimistic like his sister’s but he sees things for what they are. If asked for his opinion, he will tell the truth, even if it is blunt. Being alone with anybody but his sister is awkward to him. He can read body language and moods like his sister, but he does not usually use them to help others. Reed isn’t really selfish; he just feels that there are some things that others should learn from themselves. Like almost all clan cats, he is extremely loyal and he follows the supervisor’s words exactly. Unlike his sister, he is very logical. His parents’ death hit him hard, harder than his sister but he hid this fact because he thought it would make him look weak. Because he is uncomfortable talking to others about himself, the guilt and weight of the loss makes him occasionally grumpy and sharp tongued.
